For the U.S. citizens, 2011 will be a happy years. This is because President Obama has signed the new tax measure. Based on this regulation, individuals who pay into the social security system will realize a two percent raise in their take home pay. This will meant a lot for the society in a country now undergoing economic recovery after some considerable setbacks as the effects of perverse activities in recent years.
Consequently, employees' share with the withholding tax will be reduced by that two percent figure. This of course will not influence a company's expense side so much. The balance will keep the same just as before, only the money for tax payment will be shifted to salary expense. However, in the long run, it will presumably make a tighter knot between the company and the employees if looked from management standpoints. Employers will look the company with softer eyes.
A new atmosphere presumably will take place in workplace. It can be expected that productivity will have bigger chance to make an increase since employers will be changed into diligent workers. So, payment in raise should not become a burden. This way companies make a positive step to conduct their CSRs.
